Resumen


La actualización del modelo económico cubano enfatiza en la necesidad de fortalecer y ampliar las actividades en el sector turístico, por lo cual se debe potenciar el emprendimiento corporativo en las organizaciones. El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar los factores institucionales que moderan la actividad emprendedora en el sector turístico cubano. El método empleado fue el análisis de componentes principales, y se demostró lo siguiente: los emprendedores poseen un elevado reconocimiento en las empresas, el desarrollo tecnológico es uno de los factores que condicionan los emprendimientos y la preparación de los recursos humanos no es suficiente para asumir los nuevos negocios que han surgido. Se concluye que existen presiones normativas que limitan la cultura emprendedora de las organizaciones y la creación de nuevos emprendimientos.

Abstract

The updating of the Cuban economic model emphasizes the necessity to enhance and increase the activities in the tourism sector through the development of the corporate entrepreneurship in the organizations. The objective of this research was to determine the institutional factors that moderate the entrepreneur activity in the Cuban tourism sector. The method used was the principal component analysis, and the following was proven: the entrepreneurs are highly recognized in their enterprises, also that the technological development influences entrepreneurship and even when the enterprises are proactive to entrepreneurial activities, their human resources are not ready for them. It was concluded that normative pressures limit the entrepreneurship culture in the enterprises.
